See what you can ask Kumi

Kumi is your concierge at Foundry Padel on WhatsApp. Ask in plain language, day or night. A few of the things it handles:

Find players
How do I find people to play with? I don't know anyone here yet.
That is what I am for. Tell me your level and the evenings you are usually free, and I will message you when an open match needs someone like you. No membership, no fee. Want me to set that up now?
Get matched
Can you find me a game this week? I'm free Thursday evening.
On it. You're around a 3.5, and I've got 3 players at your level looking for a 4th on Thursday night. Want me to set up a match and invite them?
Open matches
Any open matches I can jump into this weekend?
There's a Saturday 10am match needing one more, players right around your level. Want me to grab the spot for you?
Competitive matches
I requested a place in the Wednesday competitive match and it still says pending. Am I in or not?
Not yet. A competitive match outside your level band needs every player already in it to approve you, so pending means they have not all tapped yes. I can nudge the organiser, or find you a casual match at the same time that you can just join.
Hours and prices
What time do you open and how much is a court?
We're open 6am to midnight every day, all four courts. A court is $60 for an hour, $90 for 90 minutes and $120 for two hours, split between up to four players, so a 90-minute doubles game is $22.50 each. Want tonight's free slots?
Booking a court
How do I book a court?
Easy, courts go through Playtomic. Here's a quick walkthrough to get you set up, then just tap any open slot. Want me to check what's free tonight?📷 Playtomic setup guide
Court availability
Any courts free tonight?
Yep. Padel 1 is open 6:00-7:30pm and Padel 4 has 8:00-9:30pm tonight. Want the booking link?
Your settings
I travel a lot, stop asking me about last-minute games. And who are my preferred partners?
Done, no more last-minute invites. You've got Ana and Marco saved as preferred partners, so I'll flag their matches first. You can change your quiet hours or switch to SMS any time, just tell me.
Coaching & clinics
My bandeja is a mess, who should I take a lesson with?
One of our coaches specializes in technique and runs the intermediate clinic Wednesday at 6pm, 2 spots left. Want me to book it for you?
Tournaments
What tournaments are coming up?
The Advanced Mexicano is this Saturday at 11am and it's nearly full. Here's the signup 👉 . Want me to remind you before registration closes?🔗 Tournament signup

Playtomic won't let me pay…📷 Screenshot
Ah, I see it. Your card was declined at the confirmation step. Try removing and re-adding it under Payment Methods, or use Apple Pay. If it still won't go through, I'll flag it to the front desk.
Bringing a friend
Do you rent rackets? Bringing a friend who's new.
Yes, demo rackets are at the front desk, no booking needed. Perfect for your friend to try before they buy, and there's nothing to arrange in advance.
Racket advice
What racket should I get for more power, under $200?
For power on a budget, the Bullpadel Vertex 04 (~$180, power 8.5/10) is a great fit at your level, teardrop shape so it's still forgiving. Want a couple of alternatives?
Ask anything
What's the difference between a bandeja and a víbora?
Both are overhead shots from the back: a bandeja is a slower, safer slice to reset the rally; a víbora has more side-spin and pace to stay on the attack. Want a drill to practice them?
